1. Who we are

EZTag ("we", "us", "our") is a browser-based football match tagging application operated by Omega Data Apps. Our application is available at eztag.app and our marketing website at eztag.co.uk.

2. What data we collect

When you sign in to EZTag we collect and store:

• Account information — your email address, display name, and profile picture as provided by your Google account or as entered during email/password registration.
• Match and tagging data — match configuration, team rosters, tagged events, formations, and match reports you create within the application.
• Usage telemetry — anonymous session data such as feature usage counts and session duration, used solely to improve the product. No personally identifiable information is included in telemetry.

We do not collect payment information (there is currently no paid checkout), location data, device contacts, or any data from other apps on your device.

3. How we use your data

• Providing the service — storing your matches, tags, teams, and configurations so you can access them across sessions and devices.
• Authentication — verifying your identity via Google Sign-In or email/password to secure your account.
• Analytics — aggregated, anonymised usage data helps us understand which features are used and improve the product.
• Support — if you contact us, we may use your email to respond.

We will never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Where your data is stored

Your data is stored in Google Cloud infrastructure (Firebase / Firestore and BigQuery) located in the europe-west2 (London) region. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

5. Third-party services

EZTag uses the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase — authentication, database (Firestore), hosting, and Cloud Functions.
• Google BigQuery — aggregated analytics data warehouse (match and tag data for completed matches).
• Google Sign-In — OAuth 2.0 authentication. Google's own privacy policy applies to the sign-in process: Google Privacy Policy.

6. Data retention

Your match data and account information are retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account via the Account Settings page, all associated data (Firestore documents, BigQuery records, and authentication credentials) will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data — all your match and tag data is visible within the application.
• Export your data — use the XML export feature to download your tagging data at any time.
• Delete your account and data — use the "Delete Account" option in Account Settings.
• Withdraw consent — you can revoke Google Sign-In access at any time via your Google Account permissions.

8. Cookies

EZTag uses only essential cookies and local storage required for authentication and application state. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Children's privacy

EZTag is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via a notice in the application. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
